Jrow // Well, I guess Feel wasn’t satisfied enough with the dramatic tones that it had running in episode 10 and turned it to 11 (in ep. 11) with a dating scene that accomplished absolutely nothing at all with either plot, characterization or feeling towards the characters. Ep. 10 was a good episode, not series-saving. There was a slim opportunity to bring the series back to passable, but Ep. 11  for me has confirmed the downward spiral I’ve felt this anime has been going on for a few weeks now. The crying scene at the end was just absurd, the show has completely forgot that there is also a world that needs saving, and the final episode will be just as bad because of how poorly the penultimate episode has set it up for Ryosuke’s revival. It’s one thing if ep. 11 was a rare bad episode and I could dust it off, but at this point I’m just anxious for this mess to end.  Yo lvlln, lemme do a copy/paste situation here…

Akatsuki-”Did anyone order a thick cut of dragon meat?”        Miu-”Ewwww I wouldn’t eat that!”

Akatsuki is putting on a ecchi themed puppet show again.

Fosh // Hooray we have reached the final episode of this decent action ecchi series! So what happened? First off we had the dramatic and quick showdown between dragon form Dr. Phil and Akatsuki…yeah…that was such a lame ass fight, but hey I loved that new weapon Akatsuki used on the dragon for a nice clean cut! I guess we can credit Miu, Haruka and Kaitou for his final victory? They all sort of helped him in different ways. So the dragon was defeated quickly and Miu got over some personal issues about being a daughter of a demon king and she revealed her story to Izumi and Kuzuha at last, but I think those two girls always had an idea that Miu was something special? So there was some super-secret stuff with the shadow looking people and of course Kaitou has something special planned for Akatsuki later on, but I was interested in the ending with just about everyone tagging along for the trip to Miu’s world…was anyone else waiting for them to screw up the teleportation? I know there is that queens blade crossover OVA planned for later and maybe they all end up in that world first? Anyway I take back what I said last week about not watching season two…I might check it out…we shall see!

Overall Hagure Yuusha no Estetica starts off as an exciting take on “high school students with powers” in the vein of several anime series like Index, Railgun, Aquarion EVOL and so on; however after I got to know some of the main cast of characters things started to fall apart for me especially with Miu? She doesn’t really do much for me personally because she spent most of her time crying about her life? Just kidding she had plenty of cute moments! I was glad they gave us a kick ass main character with Akatsuki! Voiced by Nobouhiko Okamoto who I always remember as Rin from Ao no Exorcist or we could just go with Accelerator from Index? In the end you might as well call this series index season three thanks to voice roles from Touma and Misaka. In closing I had lots fun with a certain episodes, but not all of them provided me with something entertaining of course there were plenty of random topless shots of all the girls every week.

Kara // …I don’t know if I’m ever going to fully understand what the hell is going on with the plot in Who is Imouto. There’s just too much potential betrayal, confusing plot twists and people faking being the imouto (and then proving that they’re not …. and then after that possibly pretending to be/ actually (possibly) being the imouto again). That being said, I think you guys in the comments were right about the fight being between Konoe and Miyabi. I can’t see it swinging any other way. There was some clean harem fun with Miyabi and Shougo this episode. That was nice to see since Miyabi didn’t even get an arc to herself and Konoe has been stealing the spotlight.

…So Ikusu is tired because she’s been too busy browsing por- er, old sentai shows?Lol that background music was so overly dramatic. I guess Yuzurina playing the actress who’s voice was used for the phone explains why she sounds so much like every fake imouto thus far. However, that STILL doesn’t explain why the flashback imouto sounds like her as well. …Unless it was her, and for some convoluted reasoning, she’s either changed her mind or has been plotting whatever the hell is going on here since she was a loli. I don’t think that phone was in existence back then. I do enjoy plot twists, but this seems way more complicated then it should be.
